<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a stabilized pitavastatin-containing composition capable of reducing appearance change with time without restricting to a specific pH region, and excellent in temperature stability, and to provide a method for producing the same. <P>SOLUTION: This invention relates to a method for producing a composition containing pitavastatin or a salt thereof and synthetic hydrotalcite, and a composition includes a step for mixing pitavastatin or a salt thereof with synthetic hydrotalcite.
