Provided are a device and a method for infusing a liquid without inserting a needle in a food. The present device (1) is provided with: a liquid-jetting mechanism (20) comprising a liquid-holding member (22) for holding a liquid therein, a liquid-accelerating member (24) for accelerating the liquid inside the liquid-holding member, and a nozzle (26) provided at a position that faces a food so that the liquid accelerated by the liquid-accelerating member is jetted toward the food; a driving mechanism (40) for moving the liquid-accelerating member; and a control means (50) capable of controlling the driving mechanism so as to freely change the movement speed in the process of moving the liquid-accelerating member from a movement starting position to a movement completion position. |
