PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a display unit, an electronic instrument and illumination equipment capable of effectively releasing heat from a light-emitting device even if a frame is formed around the light-emitting device or a light guide plate.SOLUTION: In illumination equipment 8 of a display unit 100, heat from a light-emitting device 89 is released by a light source substrate 88, a light source supporting member 60 made of metal and a first frame 40 made of metal. Further, the illumination equipment 8 includes a second frame 30 made of resin. The second frame 30 zones a closed space 8a between the light source supporting member 60 and the second frame. The closed space 8a is extended in an extending direction of the light source supporting member 60. The second frame 30 has an opening communicating with the closed space 8a. The first frame 40 and a third frame 50 each have an opening at a position overlapping with the opening of the second frame 30. Accordingly, the heat from the light-emitting device 89 can be released through the closed space 8a and the openings. |
