<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a seven-ton hydraulic excavator in which an engine without engine peripheral devices that are expensive and have a complex structure can be mounted, and the conventional performance of a work machine is maintained.SOLUTION: The output of an engine 1 is set at 36 kW that is lower than the current output of 40 to 55 kW. The horsepower consumption (absorption) of a hydraulic pump 2 is set equal to that of a hydraulic pump generally mounted on a prior art seven-ton class hydraulic excavator. Pipes 4a, 4b and 5a, 5b from a control valve 3 to a boom cylinder 4 and an arm cylinder 5, respectively, are set to 3/4 inch (1.91 cm) that is larger than the prior art hose size, and pipes 7a and 7b for travel motors 7 and 8 are set to 5/8 inch (1.59 cm) that is larger than the prior art hose size.</p> |
