<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicle seat that can make smaller the movement amount to the rear of the location where the head of the occupant is supported, while properly absorbing the shock when the vehicle receiving collision from the rear in a simpler structure without increasing the number of parts. <P>SOLUTION: The vehicle seat includes a seat cushion and a seat back. The vehicle seat is provided with a shock absorbing means to absorb the shock when rear end collision occurred to the vehicle in which the vehicle seat is installed. The shock absorbing means has: a first shock absorbing means 53A that absorbs a first impact energy that is the impact energy when the collision below the first speed is received from the rear of the vehicle; and a second shock absorbing means 53B that absorbs together with the first shock absorbing means 53A, a second impact energy that is the impact energy when receiving the collision of a second speed that is bigger than the first speed from the rear of the vehicle. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT</p> |
