<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To appropriately use a portable terminal within a vehicle while preventing a failure or other troubles of the portable terminal from being caused by the ambient temperature of the portable terminal which goes out the temperature range suitable for the use of the portable terminal. <P>SOLUTION: The holder for a portable terminal comprises: a holding section 3 installed within a vehicle 1 and capable of holding a portable terminal 2; charging means which charges the portable terminal 2 held by the holding section 3; a temperature sensor 5 for detecting the ambient temperature of the portable terminal 2 held by the holding section 3; discrimination means for discriminating whether the ambient temperature of the portable terminal 2 is suitable for the use of the portable terminal 2 on the basis of the temperature detected by the temperature sensor 5; and reporting means 11 for reporting the result of the discrimination by the discrimination means. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT</p> |
