摘要 <p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress the generation of a speckle at the time of reproducing a hologram image by using a coherent light beam. <P>SOLUTION: A stereoscopic image display device includes a laser source 50, a light beam scanner 60, and an illumination hologram recording medium 45. A beam L50 from the laser source 50 is reflected by the light beam scanner 60 to irradiate the illumination hologram recording medium 45 with the beam 50. An image 35 of a scattering plate using a reference light beam to be converged on a scan base point B is recorded as a hologram in the medium 45. The light beam scanner 60 irradiates the medium 45 with the beam L50 refracted at the scan base point B. At this moment, a refraction state of the light beam is changed in time so as to scan the light beam 60 on the medium 45. Regardless of the radiation position of the light beam, a diffraction light beam L45 from the medium 45 reproduces a reproduced image 35 of the same scattering plate at the same position. When a spatial light modulator 80 is disposed at the position of the reproduced image 35 and a hologram interference fringe based on predetermined image data is formed, a reproduced image FF having a suppressed speckle is observed from an eye point E. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT</p>
