<p>An electrosurgical wand 102 comprising an elongate shaft 106 that defines a handle end and a distal end 108, an active electrode disposed 202 on the distal end of the elongate shaft 106, the active electrode having a distal apex. A return electrode 204 disposed on the elongate shaft 106 and spaced proximally from the active electrode 202, the return electrode 204 comprising a distally extending tab 205 arranged on the first side of the shaft and having a shape selected so that the spacing between a distal edge of a portion of the tab 205 and the distal apex of the active electrode 202 is uniform along the length of the edge of the portion of the tab. Further comprising an aspiration port 207 for removing excess fluids and remnants of ablation away from the distal end, wherein the aspiration port 207 is arranged on a second side of the shaft opposite the first side.</p> |
