PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for manufacturing an inkjet recording material improved in the peel-off of a coating at a folded portion when folded.SOLUTION: A method is provided for manufacturing an inkjet recording material having an ink receiving layer at least at one face of a sheet-shaped support, and having a linear folding designation portion on the surface of a sheet. The method forms a linear and furrow-shaped protrusion in a folding designation portion being a valley line when folded by making a plurality of semi-circular pressing blades whose cross section shapes at blade tips are semi-circular pressure-contact with the surface of the sheet, or forms a linear and groove-shaped recess at a folding designation portion being a ridge line when folded. |
