The appliance (1) has a hot and/or dry air unit (6) for generating hot and/or dry air flow and indirectly connected with a dispensing device (8) over a connection line. The dispensing device is indirectly connected with a container (3). A part of hot and/or dry air flow generated by the hot and/or drying air unit is guided to the dispensing device over the container. A blower (14) is connected with the dispensing device, and produces negative pressure in the dispensing device. The container is provided in a housing (2). An independent claim is also included for an arrangement with two household appliances.
