<p>The invention relates to a road unit consisting of a private passenger vehicle (1) including a front axle and a rear axle, said rear axle being provided with an active system (4) for controlling the steering, said road unit further consisting of a set of tyres to be installed on the front and rear axles, each tyre including a crown area laterally extended by flanks, each tyre comprising a carcass framework extending from one bead to another bead, passing through the flanks and the crown of the tyre, the crown area including a reinforcing framework with a tread mounted radially on the outside thereof, said tread including a tread surface radially on the outside thereof, a plurality of grooves being formed in the body of the tread, wherein: the grooves of the rear axle have a depth of no less than 3 mm and no more than 5 mm; the grooves of the front axle have a depth of no less than 5 mm, the grooves of the front axle being deeper than the grooves of the rear axle; and the vehicle has adjustments (camber, toe-in) of near zero.</p> |
