<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To increase the supply number of media per unit time in a merging path when a medium is supplied to the merging path from a plurality of medium supply device. <P>SOLUTION: The medium supply units (U2a-U2c) include: the merging path (SH11) formed by merging supply paths (SH12-SH34, SHu, SHu') for conveying a supplied medium (S); a supply determining means (C6) for determining whether the medium supply devices (111-312) can supply the supplied medium (S) to the merging path (SH11); a device registering means (C8) for registering the medium supply devices (111-312) increased when the medium supply devices (111-312), which are determined to be capable of supply while the supplied medium (S) are supplied, are increased; and a device control means (C12) controlling one of the medium supply devices (111-312) and supplying the supplied medium (S), and controlling any of the medium supply devices (111-312) and supplying the following medium (S). <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT</p> |
