<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of accurately measuring surface tension of coal simply and in a very short time.SOLUTION: Raman spectroscopy is performed for each of a plurality of coals. Measurement of surface tension is performed for each of the plurality of coals. Raman spectroscopy is performed for unknown coal, and a characteristic value of the peak of the unknown coal is acquired. Based on correlation between the characteristic value of the peak for each of the plurality of coals by Raman spectroscopy and a measured value of surface tension, a value of surface tension of the unknown coal from the characteristic value of the peak of the unknown coal is calculated.</p> |
