<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fuel pump controller with excellent reliability, which stops a fuel pump on the basis of collision detection by a sensor. <P>SOLUTION: The fuel pump controller (100) includes: collision detection means (11, 12) that transmit a collision signal or a non-collision signal by detecting presence/no presence of collision of a vehicle; and a stopping means (17) that stops the fuel pump (4) for a first predetermined period T1.
