PURPOSE:To obtain available water with a high temperature by absorbing exhaust gas heat in addition to the heat in cooling water of an engine. CONSTITUTION:An engine 1 for vessel, etc., has a cooling water tank 4, and discharges exhaust gas from an exhaust pipe 3 to the atmosphere. So that hot water may be obtained by waste heat and antiicing for a vessel body, etc., can be performed, sea water is supplied from a pipe 11 to assigned places through a pump 9, a heat exchanger 5 within the cooling water tank 4 and heat recovery pipe 16 within the exhaust pipe 3. Since exhaut heat is available besides the heat in cooling water from the engine in this way, available water of a high temperature is obtained, and since seawater in the exhaust heat recovery pipe 16 is heated once with cooling water, no adhesion of much condensed water to a pipe wall can take place. |
