<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image processing device that can reliably mask a region where a mask object is imaged even in the case of taking time to determine whether the region is the mask object such as a case that a subject requiring mask processing is framing in. <P>SOLUTION: A mask candidate cutout unit 222 cuts out a region which can be a mask object as a mask candidate region from a decoded image frame, and stores it in a mask candidate buffer. A similarity determination unit 310 determines the mask candidate to be a mask object if the latest mask candidate region is similar to the mask object. A related region pickup unit 236 picks up a mask candidate region related to the region determined to be the mask object from past data stored in the mask candidate buffer.
