In a method of manufacturing a color filter, colored pixels for the color filter is formed by using an ink-jet printing method and arraying a plurality of droplets at arbitrary intervals. In this method, droplets to be arrayed at the four corners of a colored pixel are coated and then droplets to be arrayed at other positions in the colored pixels are coated.
