HAND GRINDER

The present invention relates to a hand grinder including a variable safety cover while more simply and more rapidly attaching or detaching a consumable grinding disk, which is settled on top of the rotational axis of the main body of the grinder to be used to polish or cut the surface of a workpiece, or preventing release or vibration or the like. The present invention comprises: a main body of the grinder having a rotational axis installed thereon to be operated at high speed by the operation of an electric motor or air pressure; a power transmission member having a hexagonal body including a flange in the middle of a body while having a hanging protrusion formed on the upper end part of the body to be coupled onto the rotational axis of the main body of the grinder by a fixing bolt; a stopper member having a concave groove formed around an outer circumference surface and having a hexagonal hole formed on an inner circumference surface to be assembled to the power transmission member; a pair of protruding bars installed and inserted into both sides of the flat panel part of the stopper member respectively; and a grinding disk having upper and lower fixing plates having a grinding stone fixed thereto while simultaneously being attached to or detached from the power transmission member. The present invention may further comprise: a grip ring mounted on the surrounding surface of the outer circumference of the stopper member; and a variable safety cover installed on the main body of the grinder for the safety of a worker.
