The present invention relates to an active calendar driving device and an operating method thereof, the device transmitting a calendar image to a smart phone or an exclusive terminal through wired and wireless communication to be displayed wherein an application is installed in the smart phone or the exclusive terminal nearby. The active calendar driving device comprises: a background content unit which stores a plurality of background contents and a plurality of randomly selected contents in allocated areas respectively; a calendar control unit which outputs a corresponding control signal to operate each function unit; a calendar information calculating unit which calculates time and a date; an event processing unit which searches information and multimedia content and requests that the information and the multimedia content be outputted if set celebration date and time are reached; a calendar application unit which stores and installs a calendar application in an allocated area; and a multimedia input and output unit which inputs a command signal by an external touch and voice. |
