<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an apparatus for decomposing gas in which flow of gas in a porous catalyst body is not disturbed, flowing gas can be uniformly heated, a large amount of gas can be efficiently decomposed by being made to flow, gas can be heated to a fixed temperature and is made to act on the catalyst even when the flow rate varies. <P>SOLUTION: The apparatus for decomposing gas is constituted by charging the porous catalyst bodies 11, 12, 13 in a vessel 1 where gas is made to flow. Gas is made to flow in the porous catalyst bodies and further porous exothermic bodies 7, 8, 9, 10 having continuous pores at a surface and/or the inside of the porous catalyst body are provided to the apparatus. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
