<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To invent a high-refractive-index glass which can be in agreement with the refractive indices of an organic light emitting element or ITO. <P>SOLUTION: The high-refractive-index glass includes SiO<SB POS="POST">2</SB>+Al<SB POS="POST">2</SB>O<SB POS="POST">3</SB>+B<SB POS="POST">2</SB>O<SB POS="POST">3</SB>in an amount of 0.1-60 mass% as a glass composition; has a (BaO+La<SB POS="POST">2</SB>O<SB POS="POST">3</SB>+Nb<SB POS="POST">2</SB>O<SB POS="POST">5</SB>+TiO<SB POS="POST">2</SB>+ZrO<SB POS="POST">2</SB>)/(SiO<SB POS="POST">2</SB>+Al<SB POS="POST">2</SB>O<SB POS="POST">3</SB>+B<SB POS="POST">2</SB>O<SB POS="POST">3</SB>) ratio by mass of 0.1-50, a (MgO+CaO+SrO+BaO)/(BaO+La<SB POS="POST">2</SB>O<SB POS="POST">3</SB>+Nb<SB POS="POST">2</SB>O<SB POS="POST">5</SB>+TiO<SB POS="POST">2</SB>+ZrO<SB POS="POST">2</SB>) ratio by mass of 0-10, and a (TiO<SB POS="POST">2</SB>+ZrO<SB POS="POST">2</SB>)/(BaO+La<SB POS="POST">2</SB>O<SB POS="POST">3</SB>+Nb<SB POS="POST">2</SB>O<SB POS="POST">5</SB>) ratio by mass of 0.001-40; and has a refractive index (nd) of 1.55-2.3. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT</p> |
