<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a packet processing device which can enhance efficiency of packet processing and throughput by reducing a packet processing latency time. <P>SOLUTION: A packet processing device comprises at least: reception processing means (31) for receiving a packet; header analysis processing means (32) for analyzing a header part of the packet; header processing means (33) for performing processing on the header part; and transmission processing means (34) for transmitting the processed packet. When the packet header size of the received packet has been transferred in a packet storage memory (5), the reception processing means (31) executes in parallel packet transfer processing which transfers a data part of the packet to the packet storage memory (5) and transfer processing of packet information for performing processing by the header analysis processing means (32). <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT</p> |
