The active material layer of an electrode is formed by using a binder containing a polymer comprising: a core part having a four- or more-membered ring structure; and arm parts which extend from three or more carbon atoms constituting a ring structure and which is formed from the polymer of an acid monomer having a carboxyl group. As a consequence, the power storage device of the present invention exhibits the ability to follow changes in volume during charging and discharging, wherein the load characteristic, the initial efficiency and the charge/discharge capacity of the power storage device are improved. |
