PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a marine structure made of a steel material excellent in corrosion resistance and capable of reducing a coating cost.
SOLUTION: The marine structure is configured to include a steel material treated with a coating having a prescribed paint thickness in a height direction region where the amount of flying sea salt particles exceeds a prescribed boundary value and a steel material without coating in a height direction region where the amount of the flying sea salt particles is equal to or below the prescribed boundary value. Further, the boundary value is 0.1 mdd or less. The steel material without coating preferably includes, in mass%, less than 0.08% C, 0.75% or less Si, 2.0% or less Mn, 0.030% or less P, 0.030% or less S, 0.01-0.05% Al, 0.010% or less N, furthermore, 0.50-1.0% W, 0.010-0.200% Nb, 0.01-0.10% Cr, and additionally one or two kinds of elements selected from 0.05-0.50% Cu and 0.05-0.50% Ni. The marine structure is preferably suited to offshore structures, particularly an offshore wind power generation tower. As a result, the coating area can be drastically reduced, the coating work load is lightened, and the time span for re-coating can be shortened so that the coating cost can be reduced.
COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT
|
