Disclosed is an apparatus and method for estimating a battery state, and more particularly, to an apparatus and method for estimating a more accurate battery state such as SOC of a battery by using an extended Kalman in consideration of a current offset of a current sensor included in the battery. The apparatus for estimating a battery state includes a measurement unit, a prediction unit, a correction unit, a SOC estimation unit, and a control unit. |
