Disclosed is a liquid storage system comprising a tank (16) for containing a liquid, said tank (16) enclosing a liquid storage space (14), and an assembly (18a, 18b) located within the tank (16) and configured to reduce the effects of hydrodynamic ram within the tank (16). The assembly (18a, 18b) comprises a plurality of flexible sheets (22a, 22b) of a material arranged as a stack of sheets, and attachment means (20a, 20b) for releasably attaching the stack of sheets (22a, 22b) to an internal surface of the tank (16). The flexible sheets (22a, 22b) may be made of a material comprising aramid or para-aramid fibres. |
