<p>Embodiments relate generally to electrical and electronic hardware, audio equipment, wired and wireless network communications, data processing, and computing devices, including mobile and wearable computing devices. More specifically, devices, techniques, and computer-readable media for mobile device speaker control are described. An example of a method can include initiating proximity detection, establishing a first communication link between a speaker box and a mobile computing device, and receiving a first identifier via the first communication link from the mobile computing device. A method can further include detecting a packet via a second communication link and determining the mobile computing device is in a range of proximity of the speaker box a first point in time. Also, the method can include transferring control of the speaker box to the mobile computing device as a function of the range of proximity.</p> |
