The present invention relates to a safety support capable of improving stability by preventing an upper pipe from being released or slid even with the rotation of a first rotation adjustment part due to tensile force or external force as a second teeth part is positioned inside a wedge part of a length adjustment part to adjust the length of the upper pipe and a lower pipe. According to the present invention, the safety support comprises: a pipe-shaped lower pipe with an internal empty space; the upper pipe inserted into the top of the lower pipe to be coupled; and a length adjustment part to selectively fixate the upper pipe on the top of the lower pipe and to adjust the length. The length adjustment part comprises: a connector formed into the shape of an empty pipe while the bottom is fixated to the lower pipe to be coupled and having a thread formed on the outer circumference and a taper part formed on the inner circumference, wherein the diameter of the taper part decreases from the top to the bottom; a wedge part divided into multiple parts to fixate the upper pipe inserted therein such that a part of the lower part can be received in the taper part of the connector and having a holding groove formed on the outer circumference of the upper part; and a first rotation adjustment part having a female thread formed on the inner circumference to be screwed to the outer circumference of the upper part of the connector and a wedge holding protrusion formed on the inner surface of the top and inserted into the holding groove of the wedge part to be vertically movable. |
