<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To implement calibration to eliminate the influence of an error when a vehicle stops, with simple equipment. <P>SOLUTION: The camera calibration apparatus includes: a measurement area MA having at least two reference lines RL including a line crossing two points corresponding to the shape of a vehicle 12 and disposed within an imaging range of a camera 10, and a calibration pattern PP provided between the reference lines RL and having a predetermined pattern shape; and an image processing part 14. The image processing part 14 includes: imaging processing 18 that images the measurement area MA including the calibration pattern PP and the reference lines RL using the camera 10 to generate a measuring image IM; stop error calculation processing 20 for calculating a coordinate relationship between a stop position of the vehicle 12 and the pattern shape as a stop error, on the basis of the two reference lines RL; and external parameter calculation processing 22 for calculating an external parameter corresponding to the mounting attitude of the camera 10 on the basis of the pattern shape, while canceling the stop error. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT</p> |
