<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a glass fiber sizing agent for rubber reinforcement which suppresses production of fluff even when a cake formed by winding a glass fiber is dried by heating, enables easy impregnation of a phenol-formaldehyde resin rubber latex dispersion into the glass fiber bundle, and exhibits good bonding strength. <P>SOLUTION: The glass fiber sizing agent comprises an aqueous composition containing aminosilanes and an aqueous solution of a butadiene-maleic acid copolymer. By coating with the sizing agent, a glass fiber which produces little fluff even when the cake is dried by heating and ensures good working efficiency can be obtained. A phenol-formaldehyde resin rubber latex dispersion is easily impregnated into the glass fiber bundle. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT</p> |
