<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a transfer device including a constitution capable of preventing generation of an abnormal image by preventing generation of curling in a belt. <P>SOLUTION: A transfer device 6 includes: a transfer belt 6A which is wound around a plurality of normally and reversely rotating rollers 6A1 and 6A2 and is capable of transferring a toner image formed in an image carrier 1 to an extended surface located between the rollers 6A1 and 6A2; and a belt shape holding member 21 which is arranged on a rear face of the intermediate transfer belt 6A in the vicinity of the roller 6A1 located on a driving side of the transfer belt 6A of the rollers 6A1 and 6A2 and includes a contact surface 21A capable of abutting on the intermediate transfer belt 6A along a moving direction of the intermediate transfer belt 6A. The intermediate transfer belt 6A is moved in an opposite direction of the moving direction during the transfer of the toner image with prescribed small amount of a peripheral length of the intermediate transfer belt 6A or less after transferring the toner image to transfer paper. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT</p> |
