The present invention relates to a method and apparatus for multi-band testing. A first signal in a lower frequency band of the maximum radio bandwidth of the multi-band transmitter is used. The first signal has a carrier located at the lower edge of the lower frequency band. Further, a second signal in a higher frequency band of the maximum radio bandwidth of the multi-band transmitter is used. The second signal has a carrier located at the higher edge of the higher frequency band. Further, a third signal in a middle frequency band of the maximum radio bandwidth of the multi-band transmitter is used. The middle frequency band is located asymmetrically between the lower frequency band and higher frequency band. The transmitter test is performed with the first, second and third signal. |
