<p>The present invention relates to an attachment means for use in a support, display or as part of a connection system for uses in similar applications. The attachment means comprises an elongate elastomeric strip of material or tape which has reinforced side flanges or edges and which is adapted to be connected to a surface, so as to define a loop for gripping holding or displaying an item. The strip has a shaped profile of generally rectangular cross-section, and the reinforced side flanges can have either a circular, triangular or ribbed cross-section. The strip or tape can contain internal webbing which extends longitudinally and/or transversely, and this webbing can be nylon or steel. To aid connection to the surface, holes or eyelets which can have surrounding strengthening means to prevent tearing, can be preformed in the strip to allow ease of connecting using items such as a screw, nail or tack.</p> |
