<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To automatically arrange a head unit oppositely to a carriage arm while combining a flat cable with the carriage arm without applying stress to the flat cable and to automatically overlap the head unit on the carriage arm at high accuracy. <P>SOLUTION: An arm unit of an assembly device includes a slide body 45 having a cable slide part 46 for moving a free end part 18 of a flat cable 17 downward in synchronization with downward movement of a main chuck 31, an assembly holder unit 60 includes a pressing member 61 pressing a body part 23 of a head unit 12 toward carriage arms 11a, 11b and 11c in accordance with approaching movement, and moving the main chuck 31 upward while fitting a boss hole 22 internally into a fitting hole 14c, and a cable chuck 35 releases adsorptive holding after the flat cable 17 is stored in a gap. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT</p> |
