A circuit is configured to determine a data rate at which the data packet was received via the communication channel, determine whether the data rate at which the data packet was received via the communication channel is greater than a threshold, and selectively compensate the channel estimate generated by the channel estimator for sampling phase jitter based on the determination of whether the data rate at which the data packet was received via the communication channel is greater than the threshold. |
