a receiver configured to receive a signal indicating enhanced absolute grant value channel information, wherein the enhanced absolute grant value channel information is indicative of a modulation type; and a processor configured to:
determine a segment of an absolute grant value table based on the signal;determine an absolute grant value from the segment of the absolute grant value table; andsend data in accordance with the determined absolute grant value and the modulation type.
