Disclosed are a device and a method for automatically controlling a hydrostatic test. According to an embodiment of the present invention, provided is a device for automatically controlling a hydrostatic test, comprising: a water supply pump for supplying water with predetermined water pressure; an exit water pressure measuring device for measuring water pressure at the exit terminal of a pressure container; an electro-pneumatic regulator for generating pneumatic pressure corresponding to the magnitude of an electric signal transmitted from a computing device; a variable relief valve for adjusting the water pressure of the water supplied from the water supply pump in proportion to the pneumatic pressure applied by the electro-pneumatic regulator, and supplying the water to the entrance terminal of the pressure container; and a computing device for controlling the water pressure at the exit terminal of the pressure container to sequentially increase to a second set value via a first set value by loading hydrostatic test data including information on the first set value, the second set value, a first valid time and a second valid time, operating the water supply pump and periodically generating electric signals with a magnitude corresponding to the water pressure measured by the exit water pressure measuring device, wherein the computing device adjusts the magnitude of the electric signals so that the water pressure at the exit terminal of the pressure container can be maintained at the first set value for the first valid time and the water pressure at the exit terminal of the pressure container can be maintained at the second set value for the second valid time. |
