<p>The invention relates to a method for preparing a resizing sleeve (1 1 1, 203) for lining a joining point in a pipe assembly comprising pipes of thicker (201 ) and thinner (202) diameter. The method is characterized in that it comprises the steps for stretching the resizing sleeve (1 1 1, 203) in diameter to the size of the thicker pipe (201 ) in diameter of the pipe assembly, installing an installation hat (1 10, 204) according to the thicker pipe (201 ) in diameter of the pipe assembly by airtightly gluing it onto the stretched resizing sleeve (1 1 1, 203), and returning the resizing sleeve (1 1 1, 203) to the size of the thinner pipe (202) in diameter of the pipe assembly to be lined. A suitable tool (100) for implementing the method is also presented.</p> |
