<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technology which alleviates the discontinuity of the thin line with a thin line clearly formed; and alleviate reverse in visibility between a thin line and a slightly thin line. <P>SOLUTION: The flags related with selected dot data are determined (Step S230). When a thin line flag=F and middle line flag=F are related with the selected dot data (Step S230, thin line flag=F, middle line flag=F), color conversion of the dot data is performed using LUT for normal lines (Step S240). When the thin line flag=F and middle line flag=T are related with the selected dot data (Step S230, thin line flag=F, middle line flag=T), color conversion of the dot data is performed using LUT for middle lines (Step S250).
