<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a steel pipe-concrete composite pile having an optimum structure in use of a material having a high yielding strength. <P>SOLUTION: The steel pipe-concrete composite pile obtained by lining or filling the inside of a steel pipe with concrete satisfies the relation of 325 N/mm<SP>2</SP><σyd≤5.15σc, whereinσyd (N/mm<SP>2</SP>) is the designed yielding strength of the steel pipe, andσc (N/mm<SP>2</SP>) is compression strength of the concrete. The composite pile also satisfies the relation of D/t≤80+80×(2×R/D)<SP>1/4</SP>in the relation of steel pipe diameter D (mm), steel pipe plate thickness t (mm), and concrete thickness R (mm). <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT</p> |
