<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a navigation device which can prevent a user from becoming inattentive to a part of a vehicle ahead in a real-time video image due to a route guidance mark image displayed in superimposition on the real-time video image on a display unit. <P>SOLUTION: A navigation device, supporting vehicle-driving along a route by displaying a route guidance mark image with a predetermined first image density in superimposition on a real-time video image of the ahead of a vehicle on a display unit 13, comprises: ahead-condition determination means (S12) for determining whether a vehicle exists ahead of the vehicle itself, in displaying the route guidance mark image superimposed on the real-time video image on the display unit 13; and mark image density adjustment means (S16) for adjusting the density of the route guidance mark image displayed in superimposition on the real video image on the display unit 13 to a second image density lower than the first image density if it is determined that a vehicle exists ahead of the vehicle itself. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT</p> |
