1. An image forming apparatus comprising:
an apparatus body; and a sheet feeding device to feed sheets into the apparatus body, the sheet feeding device comprising:
a housing;a pickup unit provided in the housing to pick up the sheets;a forward roller to feed the sheets picked-up by the pickup unit;a driving gear to transmit a driving force from a driving source to the forward roller;a retard roller contacting the sheets;a first reverse gear selectively receiving the driving force such that the retard roller rotates in a same direction to the sheets' feeding direction or in an opposite direction to the sheets' feeding direction; anda second reverse gear engaged with the first reverse gear and the driving gear such that the second reverse gear selectively transmits the driving force from the driving gear to the first reverse gear, wherein the retard roller rotates in the opposite direction to the sheets' feeding direction when the driving force is transmitted to the first reverse gear via the second reverse gear.
