<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wavelength conversion member, dispersed with an inorganic fluorescent powder in a glass matrix, excellent in light diffusion property while having a desired chromaticity range, and having a high total luminous flux value. <P>SOLUTION: The wavelength conversion member, composed of a sintered body of a mixed powder containing a glass powder and an inorganic fluorescent powder, includes a heterogeneous layer composed of a composition different from the glass powder in a grain boundary of the glass powder, and a thickness of the heterogeneous layer is preferably 0.001 to 5 μm. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
