PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a composite capable of exerting excellent performance as an electrode material of various batteries by making conductive material carry a metal oxide in high dispersion and improving catalyst performance, and to provide a manufacturing method suitable for manufacturing the composite.SOLUTION: When forming a nitrogen element containing compound and a metal oxide on a conductive material, a nitrogen element containing compound layer and a metal oxide layer are preferably formed on the conductive material in this order. A nitrogen element containing carbon is preferable for the nitrogen element containing compound and an iron element containing oxide is preferable for the metal oxide. |
