<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a label expansion apparatus capable of stabilizing a label mounting position of a container when mounting a highly extensible cylindrical label to the container. <P>SOLUTION: The label expansion apparatus 30 for expanding the cylindrical extensible label L to mount it to the container B includes a plurality of diameter enlarging claws 50 radially arranged on a base that has a central opening 38 through which the container B passes, and extending axially long while being radially movable between a contracted diameter reduced position of receiving the label L to enlarge the diameter of the label L and a diameter enlarged position of extending the label L, and clamping devices 60 provided to freely advance/retreat in a radial direction relative to the diameter enlarging claws 50 and clamping the lower end of the label L by abutting on claw parts 54 of the diameter enlarging claws 50 through the label L when the label L received on the outside of the plurality of diameter enlarging claws 50 is enlarged in diameter to start elastic extension. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT</p> |
