<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for treating organic wastewater capable of suppressing generation of excess sludge and a method for suppressing the generation of the excess sludge. <P>SOLUTION: In the method for treating the organic wastewater includes the biological treatment step in which the organic wastewater is treated with microorganisms in an aeration tank, the biological treatment step includes maintaining the dissolved oxygen concentration in the aeration tank of 10 mg/L or above, and also includes using at least one or more kinds of microorganisms selected from Xanthomonas group, Ralstonia group, Flavobacterium group, Desulfotalea group, Polaromonas group, and Stenortophomonas group as the microorganism. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT</p> |
