<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an excavation method and the like capable of preventing deformation and depression of a cover plate and furthermore preventing intrusion of sediment and the like into an excavator when the roof excavator is preceded. <P>SOLUTION: An excavation mechanism 1 has a main excavator 3 and a rectangular roof excavator 2 arranged on a top face of the main excavator 3. The rectangular roof excavator 2 has a roof machine box 25 which can be advanced by a roof propulsion jack 22 and a roof propulsion box 23 which accommodates a rear part 25b of the roof machine box 25. At a rear end of a front part 25a of the roof machine box 25, a cover plate 21 is attached so as to cover a top face and a side face of the roof propulsion box 23. An openable/closable hole part 232 is provided in a front end 23b of the roof propulsion box 23, and a filler 200 is injected through the hole part 232 into a space 20 which is formed inside the cover plate 21 and outside the rear part 25b of the roof machine box 25 when the roof machine box 25 is advanced. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT</p> |
