1. A dimple for use on a golf ball comprising:
a plurality of arms, wherein each arm comprises:
a leading edge having a first width;a trailing edge having a second width greater than the first width;a first side wall and a second side wall that each extend from the leading edge to the trailing edge; anda sloped floor, wherein the floor has a first depth at the leading edge that is substantially zero and a second depth at the trailing edge that is greater than the first depth to create a slope and wherein the first and second side walls each form an angle of about 90 degrees with the floor; and a center area, wherein the center area has a third depth around its perimeter that is the same as the second depth.
