<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image formation device in which discharging light is radiated onto an image carrier while space saving can be achieved.SOLUTION: In an image forming unit 15a, a discharging portion 12a is arranged at such a position that a distance from an intermediate transfer belt 7 is longer than a distance between the intermediate transfer belt 7 and an adjacent development portion 16b constituting an adjacent image forming unit 15b, emits first light 131a to a photosensitive drum 2a side, irradiates a region after transfer in the photosensitive drum 2a with the first light as first discharging light, emits second light 132a to an adjacent photosensitive drum 2b side, reflects the second light on the intermediate transfer belt 7, and irradiates a region before transfer in the adjacent photosensitive drum 2b with the second light as second discharging light. The discharging portion 12a includes: a plurality of first LEDs 121a that are arranged at given intervals along a main scanning direction and emit the first light; and a plurality of second LEDs 122a that are arranged at given intervals along the main scanning direction and emit the second light, and the first LEDs 121a and the second LEDs 122a are arranged alternately along the main scanning direction.</p> |
