<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electrochemical capacitor capable of avoiding a short circuit between a cathode and an anode due to nickel (metal) precipitated into a separator of an electrical storage element even if the electrochemical capacitor is used by being charged and discharged repeatedly for a long time. <P>SOLUTION: An electrical storage element 13 of an electrochemical capacitor 10 comprises: a cathode 13a; an anode 13b; and a separator 13c interposed between the cathode 13a and the anode 13b. Between the anode 13b and the separator 13c, an inhibitor 13d is interposed for suppressing nickel ion from eluting from a nickel coating of a lid 12 into an electrolyte. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT</p> |
